RE:RE:Volume = interest@Wiseow150... I've emailed your 'thoughtful' question to Sam direclty. He replied within the hour.
ME:
"Hi Sam,
Hope all is well with you. The following question was raised in the stockhouse forums. I think it's a fair question to ask of the company. Correct me if I'm wrong, the logistics of retrofitting equipment are not as well described as perhaps the growth trials themselves."
Sam Kanes:
No, excellent question Spencer.
First the facts:
- PRs attached re great pathogen (mould and mildew) resistance results when we spray 5-10 seconds of carbonated mist on leaf surfaces. PCT Patent filed. We never get soil or roots wet. Counterintuitive for most growers that carbonated moisture on plant leaves and buds knocks out pathogen growth naturally. Due to pH volatility from say 4.5 pH when applied to 6-6.5 pH after leaves absorb the dissolved CO2. Occurs in 90 seconds. Single cell pathogens on leaf surfaces cannot colonize in that pH volatility.
- Almost all plant nurseries including cannabis and hemp use overhead irrigation booms or hand sprayers that are easiest for us (lowest $) to interconnect to. Have to put water on clones for them to root.
- Almost all large Canadian cannabis veg and harvest grow rooms use drip lines in pots or troughs. They also use indirect misters and foggers in winter to keep up air moisture. Yes more customer cap ex $ to use our technology with them.
Retrofitting $ per square foot to use our technology varies by existing greenhouse irrigation infrastructure, size/maturity of plants, plant type etc.
Added cost/square foot versus added value created using a CO2 Delivery Solution which is why we do trials first to verify value and installation costs.
Our first two contracts with U.S. cannabis and hemp growers did the powdery mildew resistance due diligence in PR attached. Value created for them dwarfs the costs they incurred.
Can call me if you like,
