COLABOR : AWAITING A TAKEOVERThe high trading volumes is simple to understand. After hitting a low of $0.35 roughly 18 months ago, given the somewhat improvement of the company, but largely to the sale of Viandes Dcarie, shares have appreciated to a HIGH of $1.08. The company indicated a year ago that it wanted to create shareholders value, meaning indirectly that they are aiming at a potential sale of the company. Although some positive things have happened, Colabor has limited growth leverage and still an important, however, reduced debt, compared to two years ago. I dont see how a buyer would pay more than $1.75/share at the very most to buy the company, which explains why there are high trading volumes. The buyer, which i personally dont know the identity, is loading up at $1.00. One morning, in 2019, you will hear that a sale has finally been concluded. My best guess is that an offer will come at $1.50/share. Remember that the CEO has purchased some 100,000 shares at $0.44 in 2018. The Zucker Family Trust has been indeed selling just as it did when the company's recapitalization occured in 2015. I expect Colabor will be taken over by an american company.
