Understand DD - just reading Bailey's comments from the Merlin transcripts, and did not see anything that was not a fair comment (just seemed like a long blog to make someone look arrogant or unskllled without achieving the objective).  Would not argue that some twin holes would be great before finalising an agreement, but such work would be a condition precedent in an agreement.  

The same company that is aware of it's fiduciarry responsibilities for DD in spending $100M dollars, one would assume would also be savvy enough to secure a transaction before spending it's company's money, and not have a Canadian junior be in a position to go out and press release any new information to add value before doing a deal.  Or was the transaction just never announced?
