RE:Conference Call Part II

RE:Conference Call Part II

Well the call is over - it lasted 30 minutes and the CEO and CFO read from prepared statements.

No new information.

They did share that the "welfare of the shareholders is a major priority for them".

Interest charges are up 44% (interesting in the light of falling interest rates)

Over 58 million and 74 million non-payment of residential accounts for Texas and the UK respectively.  So nothng new really.

I think it is interesting that they use the term "non-payment" as apposed to "non-collection" - there is a difference although subtle.

No mention as to how long this has been going on....I find it hard to believe this is a "single quarter event" - they discovered it this quarter but how far back does this non-payment situation stretch - no comment on that.

All in all a pretty useless waste of 30 minutes.  My guess is that they think we are all dumb as stumps and will be satisfied with their presentation and conduct.

Sadly, they do have a point...we did invest in this company after all ....how smart was that?

GLTA

Thanks Rusty, I was going to listen, but you saved me wasting a half hour. Interesting that CEO was connected to Puerto Rico...that bankrupt island arm of the U.S.A lol
