RE:RE:why would anyone sellUm, whaaa? T+2 would explain why someone would not buy today because they would not own it to tender to the deadline. But if you own it , it’s a legit question, why indeed would you sell today at 9 and small change when you could tender for 10 and small change. So good question ranger. Maybe you sell because you are betting the whole deal falls apart. Seems unlikely. Maybe you have margin calls on all your cr@p energy and weed stocks and this is the only thing not way underwater? Who knows. People sell for many reasons. They buy for only one reason.
