So What's Happening?It’s clear that LPs have ramped up production and that inventory is building across the industry; however I don’t think we can evaluate the demand just yet, notably because it is being maintained artificially low by the ridiculous number of stores... In Montreal for example, you can wait 1h in line to get to a SQDC store... that’s a BIG argument for buying on the BM... also in many areas of the province the nearest store is more than 1-hour drive away... And then there’s the whole conversation about edibles... basically we know there’s a demand but we have very little true metrics to qualify it...
