Believe me Bingostar, there is nothing I would like more than the scenario you're describing except that Bombardier has become a " Weapon of mass wealth destruction ". Sure you can partly blame shorters, but shorters can only manipulate stocks with little or no support caused by bad management, whether present, past......or a combination. Don't get me wrong, I think that the A220 is a gem, an extraordinary aircraft that we Canadians should be proud of.  But how is it making money for Bombardier? It's not. First there was the cost overruns in developping the CSeries.....the repeated delays in bringing the CSeries into service......and eventually capitulation where we sold the program to Airbus for a loonie! Of course, our fine friends south of the border at Boeing tried to deliver the last blow. What we will get for the CSeries is peanuts compared to what we spent. The only thing it does is maintain jobs!
