Theralase Technologies Inc. is a Canada-based clinical stage pharmaceutical company. The Company is engaged in the research and development of light, radiation, sound and/or drug-activated small molecule compounds, their associated drug formulations and the light systems that activate them, with a primary objective of efficacy and a secondary objective of safety in the destruction of various cancers, bacteria and viruses. Great post Eoganacht. I believe our cool laser therapy business could be the icing on the cake if we execute. Check the story of famed Blue Jay pitcher Roy Halliday. He used TLT's LLLT to loosen up his pitching shoulder before - and after - games. As he result, he was able to hurl strikes deep into ballgames. Therapeutic Cold Laser ( also known as LLLT - Low-Level Laser Therapy) is used to treat a number of conditions. There is a lot of scientific studies to demonstrate the effectiveness of this treatment method.

TheraLase TLC-1000 is able to produce a lot of power ( up to 50,000 mW) but pulses at a high rate (up to 10,000 Hz). This allows the photons to reach deep below the skin to reach various tissues.

LLLT is used for acute ( fresh) conditions, chronic conditions and promotes wound healing. The main effects are listed below.

1) Speeds up healing - improves the exchange of nutrients and waste products to and from cells and produces more ATP energy molecules to speed up processes.

2) Brings down Swelling - anti-inflammatory effect by affecting the Nitric Oxide pathway.
