Rather than focusing on penny gains in a stock meandering along the bottom, look at all the positive news that supports a resurgence in Canadian energy.
International entities are abandoning Canadian energy and Canadian entities are buying the assets, leading to more Canadian centric decision making. Woodfibre LNG is ready to make a positive FID with construction starting immediately. TransMountain is kicking off, Coastal Gaslink is under construction, Pembina just bought KM Canada and the Cochin Pipeline.
AltaGas is exporting from their Prince Rupert propane plant, Pembina has a propane export facility under construction there and Volpac is planning another large one. Three or more plastics plants are proposed, using NG feedstock.
The reasoning behind these business decisions is because Canada has proven reserves of oil and gas at a reasonable price in a relatively stable political environment. The enviroloons are proven for the lying commie douchbags they are and voters are aware that energy exports hold the key to lifestyle improvements.
Stop hyperventilating about present stock prices and look to the future. Don't forget that investors 'invest' in an entity's long term business plan, not the potential for a few pennies gain per day.
I agree with most of what your saying here, I am an investor. But there is nothing wrong with short term speculation on price action. Some of us like to trade around a core holding.
