RE:China's Emergence- World's Largest REE Importer
RE:China's Emergence- World's Largest REE Importeryeribe wrote: As I believe we are all aware, China is both the world's largest producer of Rare Earth Elements (120,000 by tonnage) and the World’s largest user. To the World REE market’s huge surprise, China in 2018, emerged, as a top importer of at least 7 rare earth oxides and oxide equivalents. The country imported 41.4tonnes of rare earth oxides and oxide equivalents in 2018, up 167 percent year YOY (Ref: News Report by KALKINE MEDIA, Team Kalkine, August 23. 2019).
Roskill, as reported by KALKINE MEDIA, is a highly experienced research and consulting company. Roskill has estimated, that within the next five years the Neodymium and Praseodymium market will double in size and the combination price will increase over 50% . Because, one of the major market drivers is the world's automotive market REE demand.
I think, China's emergence as a World's top importer will be/is A BOON to all REE Players. Hence, I'm hopeful Stans Energy and the Kygyrz Republic will negotiate a settlement comprising cash, return of the 20 year Kutisay II Mine License, lifting of the environmental order banning Kashka REE Plant's access to its sludge bays-Settling Pond. (NB. The plant cannot operate without such access.) and the settlement including clear title to the one year's supply of mined, REE ore (feed stock) lying within the mine. (NB: This title was omitted from the original license)
If I recall correctly the REE metal sample Stans displayed and handed around at the 2015 AGM was Praseodymium.

I was doing some thinking and is it possible for Stan's to appeal to the Russians and have the Russians put pressure on the republic by witholding all russian support until they pay us?
