Speaking of Froth

Speaking of Froth
I infreuently take a glance of the GDXJ holdings, the US junior gold etf. LMC is not among their holdings, but with a market cap of $817 million Cdn., if it were on their list it would only qualify for a holding value of $25 million US.

Just taking the market cap values as displayed on TMX website, and I'm aware these are only rough numbers, I found a few interesting nuggets:

Royal Nickel has a market cap of $228 million, vs. Guyana Goldfields at $208 million.

Golden Star and Novo Resources have very similar market caps, about $420 mm.

China Gold Int'l, a company I have never heard of, is worth $558 mm, in the ballpark of Teranga Gold at $599 mm.

Leagold today has a market cap of $817 million.  Continental $897, Wesdome $1,028, and Osisko Mining $1,035 . Wow!
