These banners include Saks Fifth Avenue, Hudson's Bay, Lord & Taylor, and Off 5th in North America and Galeria Kaufhof, Galeria Inno, and Sportarena in Europe. HBC also has investments in real estate joint ventures. In Canada, it has partnered with RioCan Real Estate Investment Trust in the RioCan-HBC joint venture.

RE:RE:RE:Sell L&T for 50 cents/share....LOLI hear what you're saying hence why I said this transaction is neutral. They are really not getting much out of it since the cash will be used to pay for the leases that they will not be operating as storefronts. Hopefully Le Tote does really well online and it's market cap increases so HBC can sell their 20% share of the company substantially more in the future. Richard Baker really messed this company up with his real estate dealings... I think it's definitely proven that the retail business is not similar to real estate. Good thing that they hired a new CEO that had made tough decisions like getting rid of Home Outfitters, HBC Europe (dumbest move ever) and now Lord & Taylor. I don't see HBC becoming a Sears or JCP but also I don't see it becoming a JWN either. Best case scenario is to take the company private.
