September 11Having worked for one of Lydian's subs for almost two years, I was layed off a year ago - Canada's insider limitations stipulate that I could not have invested, however that timeframe is now over. I never previously bought, though naturally the stock was an interest of mine.
Seems like the police are required to dismount the blockade Sept 4-11. In the meantime, we will find out by September 6 whether another environmental assessment is required.
There was an article that I recently saw which is very telling:
https://arka.am/en/news/business/russia_is_wondering_why_americans_and_britons_must_extract_armenian_gold_and_take_it_away/ [Aram Sargsyan] ... argued that if a decision is made to allow the Lydian Armenia company to only extract gold ore and send it to a Russian gold extraction plant in the Armenian town of Ararat, environmental activists will stop their struggle against exploitation of the Amulsar mine."
Seems like the Russians are changing their stance. Earlier they would have prefered to get the whole mining operation, whereas now they are content with processing the dore after. There are huge risks with such an operation, but could be a way to... reach an understanding.
The way I see it, lots of questions will be answered by the end of next week. This will move sideways / slightly lower over the next week and a half, then resume its uptrend.
Time to load up.
