RE:People are misunderstanding the nickel at BETAThe latest info on the PEA was in the link below where RNX provided more details on the Technical Report on SEDAR. This was back in 2016, and since then there are quite a bit of changes in the scene at BH.
- Nickel: PEA Table 1 show the tonnage of Nickel mined and the grades. The tonnage is depleting to 121 ktonnes at 1.94% (zero in 2020). The max grade (2016) for Nicket ore was 2.75.
- Au: The resource estimate for Au in the PEA is outdated. The latest infor in in the (August) 2019 NI-43-101 Technical Report (SEDAR) . The WF (and later with an update from AZ) resource estimate jumped to about 1.4 Moz. In addition gold price of US $1150/oz (instead of the current over US $1300/oz) was used.

The nickel and the gold are two seperate deposits. The gold has nickel in it. The nickel has gold it. THe Hand of Faith high grade gold was found while mining for Nickel.
The nickel deposit has a grade of over 4%.
The previous company would deliniate enough to justify mining and mine to make money. They use that money to delinate more. Was done this way for decades.
So if you consider mining the nikel rather than the gold.
You would use the tonnage they can mine regardless.
So
100,000 tons of Nickel
OR
100,000 tons of Gold
They could also mine the two deposits independently.
THE NICKEL IS WORTH FAR MORE THAN THE GOLD
88lbs of nickel per ton
or
3 grams gold per ton
