RE:RE:La planete en greve pour le climatYes. And he'll probably get another term, but as liberal minority, right? Unfortunately, I don't think Scheer or any of the other party leaders have what it takes to lead their parties to a majority this fall. Sooner or later, CST will have some new cost numbers, right? Assuming that Quebec maintains their arrangement with California over the long term, the business case should be shaping up nicely. So I capture what I emit for say... $20 per tonne. I can sell the co2, and I earn credits to sell at auction for roughly $20 at current prices. So I break even on the costs (for now) but can use or sell the Co2 that I capture for a profit? I like that. Anyone in business outfit to like that. Sheesh the retail margin on electronics is 4-6% I think... I tend to think the margin on Co2 given the scenario above would be much higher. Hmm.. Me thinks when RPB is available, I'll buy one, put it on a flatbed truck and drive around to places to capture their co2. I'll take it for free, they can keep the credits, and I'll sell the co2!

Agree with most of that but CST can do nothing while Trudeau does nothing, and he will continue to do nothing until and unless the balance of federal power shifts both here and in the states. https://thetyee.ca/Opinion/2019/08/30/Quit-Chastising-Brazil-Canada/?utm_source=daily&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=300819
CST exists only if there is price on carbon pollution and that is purely a matter of politics. Trudeau is like Pelosi; the planet is burning but as long as the opposition looks worse than us the status quo is working just fine.
