My guess is that the new shipping agreements are essentially replacing the old ones for switching to the newer line. The bottleneck still lies with the Minnesota stretch of pipeline so even though capacity on the Canadian line can go up to 1M barrels per day it won't operate at capacity because of the constraints on the Minny end. Either way, still good news and hopefully there is a sentiment bid on Tuesday. GLTA.
Yes, that was my thinking, too. Hopefully a lift come Tuesday, but not really expecting much given bottleneck in Minnesota.
