How much? Well on a combined 700 billion loan portfolio - each 1% increment in loan loss provisions deducts 7 BILL in equity
thats some negative leverage to chew on with NOSEBLEED home prices ( and associated loans to finance....)
Doubt you can grow your way out of this one from where things are currently
Wouldn’t touch a Canadian Bank. All imho .
Wow, you are really trying hard with the fear factor posts. So how much do you have shorted?
No Cdn bank has ever had that kind of loan loss provision, even during the worst of some of the historical financial meltdowns. Try looking at any of the banks long term charts. Yes, occasionally there is a blip. So what. Trying to guess short term fluctuations is a mugs game. Trying to cause uncertainty and fear is a shorters game. Cdn banks are a buy and hold, sleep at night investment. Short term blips be damned.
Cheers.
