like I said before, you do what you want with your money as well as I was repeating myself over and over again; don't try to catch a falling knife...this knife is a double sided.
NMX SP has only to loose and not much to gain from here on...it is in a really bad position...
Here are some reasons why I see NMX in trouble:
LI sector is not doing that great,
And this is good for NMX (THEY WONT BE PRODUCING UNTIL 2022). Plenty time to seperate the 'wheat from the chaff' in the industry, and it is difficult to see new entrants receiving funding. Most analysts are predicting LI price pick up from 2021 onwards, guess what, just in time for NMX predicted production
LI is not a rare element, process is mostly technological, technology advances faster than NMX can get financing,
Yes tech advances, but again this is to the advantage of NMX. The main predicted advancement in energy (storeage) is for solid state batteries, which requires approximately double the LI content to existing batteries. Again, this is not forecast to become anywhere near main stream until at least 2023. And as I have already stated, the current (and short term forecast) low prices will prohibit new entrants, so if NMX can negotiate the short term, then they will be part of an exclusive club
people with deep pockets will leave NMX back in the dust They have had plenty of reason to do this before now, and I don't see them rushing to the door. In fact we've already heard from IQ saying they fully support the new funding, and Softbank saying they wont allow their stake to be diluted
NMX management is not up to the task actually they are laughable, New experienced board members are coming in from Pallinghurst (x2) and IQ (x1). I do accept the previous management structure was not up to the task pre Feb funding disaster, this has now changed (for the better I hope)
word economy is about to crash just around the corner, Possibly. But that would be the case regardless of where you park your cash
LI will not do well when people suffer without jobs, Not sure about that, if it's cheaper to run an EV vehicle, especially commercial, why would you persist with a gas guzzler. Don't forget, oil (Brent) is still around $60 with no real sign of a crash. And in fact there has been some reports that a drop in investment in new projects now bodes bad for the price of oil in the future (shortage means higher price)
t
here will be a time for EV's after the next recession but not before or during, Well all I can say is that the OEM's aren't waiting, they are investing tens of Billions NOW. And there are over 90 Battery giga factories either in the process of construction or already built, again tens of Billions in investment
and last but not least; there are way better plays out there right at this moment than LI sector There's always a better investment just around the corner
and you going to miss on it because your brainwashed by LI / EV hype...
Not brainwashed, just confident in my judgement
Wake up Mick

'billions of shares for less than market'.... lol
You see, the basics of this project are supported by some top names who are extremely good at what they do, that is making money for their investors. And yes, I am not particularly pleased in having invested in at on average around 0.90, but I am more than happy to substantially reduce that average in the new share issue.
With regards to whether this will be the final final (there has only been two including this one) funding, I really don't believe Pallinghurst would proceed if they weren't sure. That is the point of my original post, if this goes ahead in the near future, then I am confident the project will be a success, if it doesn't proceed, then possibly I will have to put my hands up...
Calgary_AB wrote: mick, the problem is that this is not the first "finalisation" of funding... do you remember how the last one went?
actually do you remember every major "finalisation" of funding went for NMX?
How can anyone think the SP will go up if some investors come in and get billions of shares for less than market? when the company dilutes the curent holders to more than double.....wow, mick wake up, your dream will hurt you when you do wake up and realize it was just a dream and reality is the oposite...
mick1888 wrote: Thanx MatG. Don't you think an early announcement would boost the SP based on the finalisation of funding?
This will be the final part of the puzzle for NMX. With the record of Pallinghursts proactive participation in their investments, and with IQ / Softbank / Blackrock increasing their holdings via the rights issue, on paper this will look an extremely formidable project chemistry. And yes, you are correct about my enthusiasm, but I think it has a good basis.... ;-)
