Platreef NPV up by 65%

Platreef NPV up by 65%Looking at Platreef Feasibility, the two main drivers for NPV are the Pt/Pd relationship (Table 22.17) and Pt/Rh (Table 22.21), adding 40% and 25-30% respectively to overall NPV, given the original price assumptions of $825/oz Pd, $1250 Pt, and $1000 Rh. At this point nickel, gold and copper don’t change Net Present Value by more than a few percent either way. You need to play with the numbers a little. Since Pt and Pd are present in equal amounts, and an oz each of Pd + Pt = $2500, you can assume for NPV purposes that both Pt and Pd are $1250 oz. This makes it easier to compare the original price assumptions with proportional price sensitivity changes in the tables.
