That was just one of its supposed comparative advantages, not the only one. RR and the crew couldn't sell units that we're marketed as begin faster, safer, easier to use, lower cost etc. The VP4 was supposed to make all other low temp sterilisers obsolete, AND (not because) it sterilised devices that no one else could. Brutal
