RE:John30

RE:John30Hi Trevor:   If you check you will find that in recent months very few BNN analysts are saying do not touch with a 10 foot pole but are now  suggesting it is on the come back trail.  But regardless a lot of those on Market call etc are not highly familiar with ALA but hav ejust a general working knowledge of it.. Fo rme ALA is my largest position and I hav eresearched it very closely and believe I know whereof I speak.   If you are seeking best income stocks - I agree that ALA is not your top choice for a low risk dividend payer - however I am a total return guy and am looking for the best low risk total return and my judgement says that ALA is strong on that metric.

You hav eto analyse and buy when the stock is in the doghouse to make money and that is usually well before most analysts comment favourably.  In the case of ALA  so many got hurt and so much happeneded that was unexpected by the market that people are still very leery of this stock.
Howeve rmy mantra here is patience.  If by mid 2021 I do not get the total return I am expecting I will move on but until then  I see this as a turn around story - GL with your choices.
