The MORE Act is obviously the right thing to do and exactly why they shouldn’t pursue it. This is the US Gov’t they will never agree to such sweeping legislation out of the gates. The US has never operated that way. The Democrats are leading it, so obviously it won’t pass. You only pursue those kinds of things when you control both congress and the senate. They don’t control the senate so it’s a complete and utter waste of time.

The SAFE Banking act is a good first step to introduce the US FEDERAL gov’t about how lucrative the POT market is. If both Dems and Republicans see theses companies coffers swell more bipartisan legislation will follow.
