RE:Trump might dump Powell on Wednesday ??

RE:Trump might dump Powell on Wednesday ??Whispers are getting louder for a 50 basis point cut by Fed. This should push gold above $1560/ounce and possibly trigger the rise towards $1900/ounce. As for Trump dumping Powell and going back to gold standard of some kind, I have seen that as possibly the only way out for US. They want crazy low interest rates, but don't want a run on their dollar, so only way to have both zero/near zero interest rates AND stable dollar (even if a 'lower' dollar) is to peg the dollar to the price of 'something' and that something would almost certainly have to be gold.
