All these long range narrow body news from AB is to delay and hurt the NMA case from boeing. Boeing has done a good job by themselves in hurting NMA with MAX and 777 issues. If Boeing goes wirh oval fuselage on NMA then AB will have to respond but AB hasn't done as much R&D on oval fuselage as Boeing. Oval or blender wing design NMA is very threatening to AB portfolio.
