The Future Economy Network is happy to announce we will be joined by Thermal Energy and subscribers Ashfords and The Kensa Group for this event to discuss heat recovery.
Neel Mehta, Partner in the Construction and Infrastructure Department at Ashfords LLP, will be giving a talk entitled 'A Brief Review of the Legal Aspects of Creating a Heat Network'.
David Broom, Commercial Director at Kensa, will discuss Community Heating and Cooling with Shared Ground Loop Heat Pumps.
David will discuss how heat networks and sustainability is the core of what Kensa do. David will be talking about how they use Shared Ground Loop ground source heat pumps as an alternative to traditional heat networks, and how their innovative system architecture removes all of the issues experienced with a central plant alternative. Providing the best possible outcomes for the resident and the building owner. David will also run through a couple of case studies of schemes they have delivered.
Andy Bennett, Southern Key Account Manager at Thermal Energy International, will give an introduction to flue losses and how to capture them.
Andy will discuss the main applications for flue heat recovery, how it can show savings and what schemes are available at the moment to increase the uptake of heat recovery systems. He will also touch on a few installations and their impact so far.
