Emotions should not have a play in your investments. It's hard but try and keep an eye on the prize. I own both VGW and OILS, same dollar value but 6X the shares in OILS. I sold some VGW this morning and picked up some OILS at this cheap, cheap price. Tomorrow I may sell some OILS and buy some VGW, always keeping a base amount of shares in each. If you can buy and sell to increase your holdings then the price fluctuation doesn't hurt as much. And in the end you will be up much further ahead than just riding it out. But I am no expert. If this is money you need today maybe the stock market is not the place for you. No offence intended
