RE:RE:Grandich on Mr. Young and TGZ

RE:RE:Grandich on Mr. Young and TGZIn some way, shape or form, TGZ will be involved. If they don’t buy Massaea outright, they will engage a JV with Barrick. A JV would be a strong play IMO given that it reduces the chance of dilution, debt etc. I can’t see Barrick engaginig in a JV without TGZ’s mill, and there really isn’t a likely buyer in the that area. So I think Barrick and TGZ are kind of stuck with each other - in a good way. Again, a potential game changer for TGZ if done right. I think that TGZ  will be caught  in this trading range until this is resolved  - because the general consensus is that TGZ will be involved, and all eyes are on Massawa from those watching from TGZ’s perspective. Mum’s the word not only at TGZ, but also Barrick - and DM has gone silent also (and it is well known he has close ties with the government, as well as  the large stake and financial wherewithal to kick this into gear). My opinion - they are already at a somewhat advanced stage of talks- which is consistent from what I heard from Young at Beaver Creek, i.e., that he “knew” Barrick would take TGZ shares in a deal and that he “admitted” that TGZ is the logical buyer. That’s a lot coming from Young. We’ll see...
