Cypress Development's other shoe.A while ago Cypress stated they had discovered Rare Earths in the lithium and then nothing more about it. Did I miss any news? So I have to ask if anyone could add additional info about it? As important as Lithium is to an industrial nation, I think Rare Earths could easily rate a higher score on the value scale as the efficiency of motors has to be as high as R.E can produce or forget about electric vehicles at least as far as the construction of motors today goes. The uses of RE elements is huge and growing fast. Lithium may fade in the future but there is no future without Rare Earths. There are about 17 of them.
So is the R.E. content high enough to warrent the cost of extraction or will the stuff prove to be a contaminant? Concidering the hazzardous position the US finds it'self in, in being on the wrong end of the RE supply stick with China and the Congressional hearings going on today about the cructial shortage the nation has with R.E., perhaps there maybe Federal funds available to refine this US based deposit. Don't underrate this problem as modern defensive/offensive weapons can't exist without them. The only US source now comes from California and believe it or not, the "ore" is sent off to china for refining. China is scooping up every ton of it they can find everywhere in the world much like they are doing wth lithium. So will CYP produce two highly prized products in the world? I hope so.
