Clean Oil

Clean OilI live in Alberta and what bothers me the most is that we have the cleanest oil in the world right here in Canada and somehow we feel that importing from backward repressed regimes is better. . There's oil in BC, Alberta, Sask, Manitoba, Newfounland has offshore oil that I know about, and I'm pretty sure there's oil in the other provinces as well but maybe to a lesser degree. Technology is moving at such a rapid pace that I'm not so sure we'll need much oil in 20 to 30 years. Let's quit shooting ourselves in the foot, extract this damn stuff and use the money to 1) raise our standard of living  2) invest in the power sources of the future 3) pay off this stupid debt that we accumulated over the years so that our grandkids don't end up paying for our excesses and stupidity.
