RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Essential reading@bobsacramento If 75% NPV including sunk costs, that would be $4.61 Canadian dollars per share for minority shareholders after KAT paying off Glencore debts.

Please note that the NPV calculation already includes the $ amount spent at the beginning of the project (as KCC debts, in this case around $9.5 billions proximatelly. This has been reduced to around $4 billions currently). The new owner will carry the KCC debts together with Gecamine, same as China Molybdenum carried Tenke old debts as new owner together with Gecamines, I think.  

NPV of Tenke (phase 1 and 2 projects) appeared to be around US$4.33 billions.  China Molybdenum paid 110% NPV to obtain 80% ownership late 2016 and early 2017.
