RE:RE:RE:RE:Convoylouel wrote: Sounds like the convoy is a go. Trucks comming down from Prince George and north Some from the Arrow lakes region joining up with others in the Okanaggan and surrounding area. North OK will join with others in Kamloops then over to Merritt and the Coke to Hope where the northern guys will meet up. Next a gathering at Chilliwack will fall in and pick up others on the way to Vancouver.
There will be a Police escort starting at Hope Van City police will take over in the city guiding the parade to their destination. Our company is working but we will shut down a rig to support the cause. Some pretty nice looking Iron going to be in that parade. A new rig after Tax and financing is well over a quarter million.
Anyone wishing to take part and support the cause sending a message to Government that status Quo is not acceptable just be at the Chilliwack husky early to get signed up. It is supposed to pass through Chilliwack 9;30 Am plus or minus
The message hoped to be sent is, If the government wants votes from us or others directly or indirectly who are connected , have interests in or are supported by the forest industry. . Then do some thing worth voting for. and get our industry back to work.
Workers and Industry of BC deserve much better than the present situation. Alberta and US companies are full steam ahead. BC mills are closing due to our government policies. See you in the convoy. .
Cheers
.
Just to clarify - this convoy is tomorrow (Wednesday) the 25th?
