RE:Claude

RE:ClaudeLike I said "Follow the Money". David Suzuki made himself filthy rich with his fear mongering. I've read that he owns lots of oil stocks and 4 or 5 houses. Al Gore's house was apparently using as much electricity as a small apartment building and when he was caught ended buying off setting energy credits, like that's going to change anything! The Trudeau family (Pierre as well as Justin) had (for Pierre) and has (for Justin) a lot of their money invested in oil tankers flying a different country's flag (used to be Greek?) so they pay the lower tax rate of that country and not pay our higher rate. Bill Morneau, who family company is worth well north of a billion apparently has a lot of his money in oil tankers as well. These people know how to make money and keep it. Problem is governments around the world are broke and know if they cut back on spending they won't be re-elected. This is just another ploy to raise taxes. I beleive there is climate change but it's been happening forever, like a pendulem, back and forth. It's almost like politicians and environmentalists believe they are Gods and can save us from ourselves :). One thing for sure, giving governments billions of dollars won't make one bit of difference, except make us all poorer.
Ever wonder why we now have to let the government know the selling price everytime a house is now sold in Canada (last 10 years or so)? If you think it"s for statistical data, guess again. That's the next tax.
