Australia's Climate Change Election - What Happened?

Australia's Climate Change Election - What Happened?https://www.dailysignal.com/2019/05/22/australias-election-shock-shows-the-perils-of-moralizing-climate-change/

Oz is a resource- based economy like ours and so Mr. Socks maybe not smart to absorb what happened in the May election.

In Oz, voters feared climate policy more than climate change.

"Labor’s ambitious climate policies were a major issue in the campaign.

Labor pledged to enact mandatory targets of 50% renewable energy by 2030, 45% reductions in greenhouse gas emissions by 2030, and net-zero emissions by 2050.

Prime Minister Scott Morrison focused on the enormous cost of these policies during the campaign, and Labor leader Bill Shorten tried to evade the question of costs.
