As for owen benjamin. all people do is call him crazy or what not. but they don't argue any of his points or evidence.
He's not right about everything. but is atleast speaking what he believes to be true. Which is significantly more than most these days.
I respect anyone willing to do their own farming over anyone still involved in hollywood. 
I've worked with many celebrities and politicians in the past. most of them are absolutely disgusting people.
I think the path to a better life is taking more responsibility for everything in your life.
Homesteading and farming will be the key to happy life/family.
