RE:Canadian Malartic 3.6 Billion, when gold was 1100 per ounce

RE:Canadian Malartic 3.6 Billion, when gold was 1100 per ounceGreat find, Thanks
Tear out the $ 1 Billion Cap Ex of that $ 3.9 Billion takeover and you get a price of $ 2.9 Billion or $ 58 per share for GBR

That was only 5 years ago so labour costs, power, materials etc. couldn't be that much differant  today and yet the POG is $ 400 higher now than it was then.
$ 400 is a lot of extra profit margin on 600,000 Oz production
$ 240,000,000 per year to be exact and that's US $
$ 318,000,000 in REAL Canadian money.

That mine's current all in cash costs are $ 576 per Oz. so at $ 1500 gold that leaves a margin of $ 924 per Oz. X 600,000 Oz. = $ 554,400,000 net profit per year.
$ 734,000,000 Canadian

Wow ! Wow ! Wow !
