RE:Commercially Viable It would be great to see QNC's technology passing some of the industry standard / certification tests:
Quantis Certifications Collection This might help to further open the market for their product. There is a statement in QNC's latest MD&A that: "
The NIST Post Quantum Cryptography standardization committee is still working on the new standard and we are convinced to have the right attributes to fulfill the future requirements for the general market and be part of a highly competitive solution. "
The skeptic in me wonders if this statement may be a carefully worded admission that:
- QNC's technology cannot pass the standard tests that exist for the most demanding cryptography markets?
- the company is waiting for a lower standard to be developed for a "general market"?
If so, I think I would still be bullish here given our tiny market cap, but it would be nice to have more clarity around this.
