RE:Re: Article:- Young's key words regarding Massawa were:- I still think that depsite Young's "Derick Jeter" reponse (i.e., we'll look at Massawa if it comes our way), TGZ and Barrick have had substanitve discussions, and ultimately TGZ will have a material part in Massawa, either as an owner, part owner or JV particpant. I also believe that DM will be involved in some capacity, probably in connection with TGZ's financing - and also pulling some strings with his close relationship with the Senagal government. It's already over six (6) months since Barrick has expressed a desire to do something with Massawa - so I think we'll hear something before the end of the year, if not sooner. Given the proximatey of TGZ's mill to Massawa (although infrastructre, such as roads, must be built) - I think this is pretty much a certainty - since it should make a lot of money for both, and neither Barrick nor TGZ can ignore this fact. Toro and IAG, amongst others, simply don't offer the same upside.

DM has also been consicuously silent since word of his desire to increase to 29% ownership of TGZ was made public (too many details given for  this to have been a farce) - and I believe that his increase in ownership will happen in connection with the Massawa deal. I also believe that Young has to answer (to some degree) to DM, who's not in this simply to roll dice.

I'm simply putting together pieces of the puzzle - JMHO.
