RE:fake news The whole sector is being shorted. here in Canada they can also do naked shorting as long as they settle in 2-3 days making it a free for all to short and cover multiple times within any time period..
This is rampant in the canadian market.
just look at these numbers, The short trades trading activity is not the same as the company short position.

And where else did all the money come from to build out good farm? obviously they had to spend some cash to get the farm going, staff, biological assets like clones. how about the staff, they aren't free. how about the stuff that goes into the building, the machines used to till, organic fertilizers and so on. it's not free. of course their expenses went up you idiots. stop spreading fear.
if you sell, your going to get screwed when all the shorts cover and this flys back up with the rest of the market.
