Mining Software

P-L.Quimper has said in the past his vision is in software research,could mining software be the key to future mining? Will the new T3 & A10 miners be absolete by next May halving? Is the future of mining in who has the best mining software? If so how will shareholders know,id imagine this would be a gaurded secret.
