RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Procyon CommentaryRobert,
Will respond to you for the last time:
“Your assertion that this was a hobby endeavor is both untrue, and damaging. It is libel.”
At our first meeting Novaerial Robotics wasn’t incorporated yet. I got serial nr 2. So you started it from a hobby. I don’t say that anything is wrong with starting a business from a hobby. It might even be good to continue your hobby into “your work”. But not understanding what customers are, that makes the situation questionable.
Writing on the 23rd of January “Either way, I think the system should be ready end of next week” and “I will work on the final payment amount.”
One month later: “Yes, have made good progress with your system. It is nearly finished, but not quite yet. Really sorry. Took much longer than I thought for some of the changes for the motor and ESC. If you want to come by tomorrow, you can check it out. Should be on it's feet and working on the wiring” (there was absolutely nothing much to see!)
And now delivery on the 11th of March (again one month later) after pressure of your client “I don't know why you are talking about fault” This means you didn’t understand when you say what to your (second) customer (of the Procyon).
“You insisted on repairing it yourself instead of shipping it here” and all at my cost even when it was a DOA? I had no choice. I invested in you, I invested in a product and could not use it for any revenue.
“And you declined the included operational training, on all 3 trips to my office” duhh.. please, pull back this remark. “I can take you to the field and we can fly my system”. I didn’t decline a training, you just gave a demo where you offered me to fly with my Procyon at that time! That’s why I came over!
“Correct, I could not ship you the batteries.” “Would you like to explain how you transported them?” I even have a written official statement on my desk that there was absolutely nothing wrong with me taking the batteries. The message here was, you didn’t invest any time in how to deal with the situation when you sell. Can I make it, can I deliver, can I support!
“I designed the payload mount for your Lidar, free of charge” Wow! Even there you think all clients are stupid. I made it myself, even for a M600 or a Zenith or a Velos. My question was, can you make one integrated, can we come-up with a nice quick release. No, you come with a simple drawing. If you call that a design. Nobody would pay for that.
There is much more to say about your statements but saying “and didn't express serious discontent until more than a year later” means you didn’t even read or understand your incoming messages or ignored them all. Difficult customers!
“have you sought legal advice over this matter yet?” More than happy to see you again.
