You obviously don’t know how to calculate returns of a short sale.

example: you sell at 100 shares at $20. Proceeds will be $2000

stock falls to 5, where you cover (5 x 100 = 500)

$2000-500=1500

1500/2000= 75% return

zero example:

short 100 at $20 = $2000 proceeds

stock falls to zero

$2000-0=2000

2000/2000= 100%
