people need to stop crying about raw logsits a myth and it wont solve the problem..yes raw logs are going out and yes mills in the interior need logs..two different things going on here folks...logs on coast and logs in the interior are different.. 2x4 interior and 2x4 coast..different speices smaller logs..coast can be fir cedar hemlock mainly... ok so raw logs stop people..what will you do with them..you do something that will create jobs and pay the province money...get the mills to run them through and see what they say...if there is a huge demand for lumber i can assure you they would as many logs thru as possible... what the public should worry about is creating a sawmill owned by the public government and maybe a company thats modern produces high quality products with added value and that creates jobs for all sectors trucking shipping by products etc..thats how you solve this..then you up the price to whoever wants it..
