RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:wow

RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:wowThere are two theories; one is share price increase - the other is dividend. I am at the age where the dividend is more important; will reinvest for a few more years until I turn 65; then just take the dividend unless a better option appears.

I sold my Alta Gas shares after they lowered the dividend. By some fluke I purchased at the bottom of the VET share price. Ensuring a 15% dividend on my initial investment. The share price increase (by another fluke) has covered my ALA loss.

Your investing decision is yours; based upon your personal circumstance. But the fact remains that mankind needs energy to survive. VET appears to be a great place to park my money...

Dumpinvestor wrote: i beleive people scared of the collape oil price. therefore, investor pulled out oil stock. the short took advantage to drive the stock price even lower. i think this is good time to get in oil stock, i will sell other oil stocks, then buy VET.

i dont think they will reduced the devident in the next couple years because they just annouce shares buy back.
