Further Developments in RomaniaJust saw the article below in the noted paper. From my interpretation, it looks like they are setting up gas pipes to take off gas, so they can pull oil from the fields. Your thoughts are appreciated. 10/7/19 Curs De Guvernare The energy authority (ANRE) has granted NIS Petrol (Serbia), indirectly controlled by Gazprom, the authorizations for setting up the pipes related to the Jimbolia and Periam natural gas exploitation perimeters, in the west of the country. The company will also build a small gas-fired power plant to ensure the operation of the perimeter operating wells, as well as for the eventual commercialization. Thus, NIS Petrol has a free path for the extraction of natural gas from the two perimeters. Naftna industria Srbije (NIS) is controlled by Gazprom Neft, the oil division of the Russian state giant Gazprom and has in its portfolio six oil and gas perimeters in Bihor and Timis counties.
