RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:harvestAnother big boost to the legal market that I have not read here yet are private and public covered health plans.

Just as one can get traditional prescription medicine cost covered for most or all by a health plan, since cannabis is now legal the next logical step would be for insurers to equally cover cost as well.

Current coverage is limited and with many restrictions such as MS, HIV, cancer, ODSP recipients, etc. As the industry grows, expect insurers to broaden the scope of recipients and the amount of coverage. Coverage of course will only apply to legally dipensed pot... the illegal market will be SOL against this.

I hope that cannabis will be similar to alcohol once the industry matures. We all could have a still in our home and make whiskey, rum, gin etc. We could also brew our own beer and wine.
i used to do wine and the quality just wasn't as good IMO and I would rather just pay a few dollars more for a nice bottle of wine.
If the pot companies can "message" (OMG don't say market...can't do advertising) their products to increase brand awareness/quality, etc we may eventually see a higher conversion to legal from black market this way as well.
