EXAMPLE: BRAZIL - TOTAL OFFSHORE BLOCK AWARD

Earlier today Total,Qatar Petroleum and Petronas were awarded exploration and production rights to an offshore block near Brazil's coveted pre-salt region - agreeing to pay the government a signing bonus of ~$978MM USD. See link: https://www.google.com/amp/s/mobile.reuters.com/article/amp/idUSKBN1WP1XY

This is just one recent example of how how much the big E&P's are willing to pay for prime offshore exploration acreage.

More information to follow. Very exciting times for the Guyana Basin and CGX shareholders. With the potential for additional new oil discoveries just a few miles from both of CGX's Demerara and Corentyne license - valuations are set to march higher. The longer prospective CGX shareholders and prospective venture partners wait - the more they will pay!
