RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Drill fences
RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:RE:Drill fencesThanks for giving it a shot. So they've narrowed it down to the magins along each fault but still it's such a massive area you could go broke if you're drilling blind, or not blind maybe but drilling 20 holes ahead of your assays can get costly unless you know you're in the right zone for reasons other than an assay. And then there's the " marker " they've refered to which I have no idea what that implies or if it's being used as another tool/indicator.
The North fault is intriguing too. It's easy to get too far ahead of ourselves on a play like this if you allow your imagination to go wild and think about the possibility of a string of Red Lake type deposits along the west side of the LP, a string of bulk tonnage deposits on the east side of the LP and then more of the same on the west side of the North fault and again something on the east side of the North fault.
For some reason this reminds me of a line from Jaws:
" I think we're gunna need a bigger boat "
5 Drills soon maybe !

The entire Dixie Project Zone (yellow colour on maps = felsic tuffs) is the Deformation Zone, where the LP Fault and the North Fault are the outer margins. Displacement along these faults will result in gold being deposited. However, the best locations for gold to be deposited are near the margins of intrusive rocks, located either along both faults or within the Deformation Zone. Since we don't have logs of the drill holes, we don't know if they are intersecting intrusive rocks. If they are, then they could be using magnetics to guide them in locating their drill holes. I think the North Fault will turn out to be just as interesting as the LP Fault. Just my thoughts.
