Read RedMatter's posts. He doesn't post wasteful fluff. He is extremely knowledgeable of the company, as are those who answer the phone at NexOptic. He asked a simple question and received an honest answer.
As for picking up the phone and speaking with Paul M....that is entirely possible....but I suspect it was simply a chat with their informative IR rep.
I can understand fear and frustration on this board, but sarcasm directed one of the best posters on this board is not necessary.
