Aphria Inc. APHA

Aphria, which is headquartered in Ontario, produces and sells medicinal and recreational cannabis. The company operates through retail and wholesale channels in Canada and internationally. Aphria is a main distributor of medical cannabis to Germany and has operations in over 10 countries outside of Canada. However, it does not have exposure to the U.S. CBD or THC markets due to the constraints of federal prohibition. It has some U.S. exposure through the acquisition of SweetWater, a craft brewer

HC wouldnt want the publicity of an LP losing a 175 kg supply deal for waiting more then a year. Meanwhile we get our licence ASAP and in the next 30 days our deal is back on. Win win win Nice moves.

The Aleafia and Aphria agreement provides 30 days for them to reach an agreement.  An AD license award on Friday only lets both companies know that plenty of supply will be available early Feb 2020.  Thats a best case scenario.   It won't have any affect on Aleafia's ability to turn that supply into sales.  Personally, I don't think a license at this point changes anything with this deal.
