Get in the game ; wake up and smell the coffee

Get in the game ; wake up and smell the coffeeI almost always agree with what Media says . I think it is a disgrace that Torstar has lost money for every one of the last six years , yet management salaries keep rising . WHY ? Based on performance , the directors fees should be zero . In fact they should pay back what they received . If you can't make money for the company , then get somebody in that can . Basically , the expenses are too high vs. the revenues . I think all management , if they want their jobs should receive a modest salary and the rest is profit and stock performance based . I just couldn't imagine a Dow 30 stock losing money for more than 3 years without wholesale changes and screaming shareholders . Of course , the shareholders of those companies have voting privileges , something 80 % of Torstar shareholders don't have .
